The Ontario Superior Court handles civil disputes, family law, and serious criminal offences. The court can conduct trials, hear appeals from lower courts, and provide juridical reviews.
 

In January 2020, Flight PS572 crashed in Tehran, Iran, killing everyone onboard, including 50 Canadian citizens and 30 permanent residents. In the first official crash report, the Iranian officials stated the crash was caused by a mulfanction in the aircraft. However, evidence from different countries' intelligence sources and social media concluded that the Ukrainian aircraft was hit by two Iranian missles. Outraged families of the casualties filed a lawsuit to the Iranian Government and International Ukrainian Airline, asking for compensation. Will they get their compensation, or will they leave empthy handed?
