The European Council is an intergovernmental organization that aims to defend human rights, democracy and the rule of law throughout Europe. The European Council is also an official United Nations observer.
 

On 16 March 2022, Russia became the first state to be expelled from the European Council due to its invasion of Ukraine. In this context, our committee's agenda item will focus on the energy and supply situations affected by the Russo-Ukrainian War, which is on the European Council's agenda and has still not reached sustainable and effective solutions. It means that this committee aims to reach a conclusion by discussing possible solutions.
